The Author was elated to have added some more energy to the 3rd Boi Mela / Book Fair which was held at the Gulshan Society Lake Park on the afternoon of the 10th of March with Author and Poetess- Nabiha Wasimat Khan, through recitation of a duet poetry. They composed their individual parts independently and then combined to create the Poem – Yet to Come!
The Author loved composing the Poem, titled – “Yet To Come” with Nabiha Wasimat Khan, an 8th grader from Sunbeams who has authored “Dearest, you made it!”
They were inspired by their 20 year age gap!
The Poem emanates “Life Lessons” of a 35 year old and a 15 year old in different ways and emotions. The purpose is not to share the minutiae of their lives but how they overcame their personal struggles and the significant phases of their lives which they thrive on!
There are messages from a 35 year old to a 15 year old to remember and then there are messages which a 15 year old would give to the world to hold.
The final message of the Poem is –
come what may, it must be believed in our hearts, that the best is YET TO COME!
