To dance or not to dance –

Take that hand for a wee bit of romance

Shall we dance?

Worry creeps in, in a hurry; but I’ll give it a chance!

He leads, I clap

He smiles, I tap

I follow the lead to twirl

I sense euphoria and swirl

To dance or not to dance –

I took his hand for a wee bit of romance

Shall we dance?

Many happy decades have gone by with this man, I am still euphoric and so I shall dance!
